Two Years and Counting...

We were married two years ago today... how time does fly by!!

(A special thanks to our friends and family members who supported us, helped with preparations and stress-relief efforts, and who attended our nuptials!)

We shared sentimental cards with one another, but didn't buy presents. Instead, as the two-year anniversary is a "cotton" one, we're going to soon shop for fabrics to recover our dining room chairs and make a matching tablecloth.

Dinner was at a local Mexican restaurant (delicious!), and then for 'dessert,' we've realized that we ALMOST have a laughing baby on our hands... any day now, and we hope to hear giggles!!

At least Tee Jay made Shawn giggle...

Shawn and I both agreed that definitely qualified as a laugh from Casey! She is SOOOOO cute!

I agree with Teresa & Shawn.......that is a "laugh" if I ever heard one!! Are you waiting for her to tell the joke, too?? Gotta love those happy baby sounds! Love & congrats to you!

Aristotle thought that laughter is what separates us from the beasts, and that a baby does not have a SOUL, until the moment it laughs for the first time. this moment of "human ensouling" and that it is supposed to happen when a baby is 40 days old.

Pedeatricians say 90 days old.
As far as I'm concerned, Your daughter has a soul and has laughed. (though I imagine that she's had a soul a longer than she's been laughing.)
