She Walks, She Walks, Oh Baby!...

So, yes, the baby girl WALKS!!!!

Casey, Tee Jay, and I ventured out in the snow (we got more, more, oh-way-too-much-more snow this week) to my cousin Craig's house tonight for some Campbell birthday celebrating, and not only did Casey get her first ever birthday presents (wow!), but after seeing the fun, raucous rough-housing of cousins Elle, Max, Katherine, and Colin, she decided to WALK.

She did eight full steps in a row at one point, which was the farthest distance, but throughout our cheering, Casey managed several consecutive steps many times over.

Now, she just needs to master the skill in time for her first birthday extravaganza next weekend!

(And thanks to the cousins for her presents - we think that adorable dresses and cropped sweaters must be the fashion trend of the baby season!)
